The Fight

It was a cold winter day- the coldest of the year. Lowins, Rony, and Rafii were walking around the projects in the middle of the night. There was a group of seven kids, all about seventeen years old. As Rony, Lowins, and Rafii walked by. The kids followed.

When one of the boys was going to hit Rony, Rafii hit him square in the face. Bryan grabbed Rafii by his collar and threw him as far as he could. The entire group of seven kids started to stomp on Rafii. Rony and Lowins finally came to Rafii’s aid. The blood gushed from Rafii’s head like running water. Blinded from his own blood, Rafii got up and rapidly attacked Bryan repeatedly. Bryan was backed up into a steel cage from the baseball field. He was so desperate that he tried to climb the fence of the baseball field and run away. Rafii grabbed him and yanked him down with all of his force. When Bryan fell, the blood was also pouring from the back of his head, but that’s when Rony recognized him.

Then Rafii realized what was happening. He didn’t want to hit Rony, he wanted to say hi. Unfortunately, Bryan wasn’t able to say much of anything at the moment.

But the last thing I remember was something touching my feet.

“Rafii get up,” said my mother.

“-___- Aiight, I’ll be up in a second.”
